A full-day private experience over two sessions offering a deeper connection to our vineyards, our wines, and the people behind them.

This two-part private tour begins at Torbreck’s Hillside Vineyard in Lyndoch, where guests are guided through the historic Hillside Winery — a jewel of Barossa heritage and home to Torbreck’s oldest vines. .In the afternoon, the experience continues at Torbreck Cellar Door in Marananga with a winery barrel hall tasting and a deep dive into blending Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro — culminating in a curated, seated tasting of Torbreck’s flagship wines.Ideal for collectors and connoisseurs, The Torbreck Immersion is available by advance booking only, with limited places to ensure a private and authentic Barossa wine experience.

Your journey begins at Hillside Vineyard in Lyndoch, home to Torbreck’s oldest vines and the heritage-listed Hillside Winery— a jewel of Barossa history and the source of some of our most iconic wines.

Here, you’ll be guided through the vineyard and historic site during a relaxed morning session, gaining insight into the unique terroir and the viticultural practices that shape our wines.

The Descendant Vineyard is home to our winery, cellar door and some of our most significant vineyard blocks.

Later in the day, guests are invited to meet at Torbreck Cellar Door in Marananga (a 20 minute scenic drive from Hillside) where the experience continues with an immersive tasting drawn directly from barrel.

You’ll explore the nuances of winemaking and learn the secrets behind blending Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro barrels into The Steading — our classic Barossa GSM — in our winery's barrel hall.

The day concludes with a private, seated tasting at the cellar door, showcasing a curated selection of our flagship wines.

What is the cost of the experience?

$390 per person. A minimum of two people are required, up to a maximum of six people.

Please note, this experience is not suitable for people under 18 years of age.

How long does the experience it take?

This is a full day experience, split in to two sessions, one at our Hillsdie Vineyard, and one at our Descendant Vineyard and Winery Allow 2.5 hours for each session

Is transport included?

This a self drive experience between the two venues: Hillside Vineyard and Torbreck Cellar Door.

Please allow 20 minutes drive between the venues, and we can recommend reputable drivers and taxi services both from Adelaide, and within the Barossa if required.

How do I book?

Bookings are essential, and confirmation is by pre-payment

Is lunch provided?

No, though light snacks and cheese are included for both parts of the experience, and we can recommend our favourite lunch spots conveniently located between the vineyards

What is the cancellation policy?

A full refund is offered for cancellation up to 7 days in advance

Are you flexable on timing?

We are happy to be flexable on tour days and timing. For example, the two sessions may be run each morning over subsequent days, rather than both on one day
