Tasting Note
The fragrance, intensity and energy of this wine is reminiscent of freshly fermenting must, with ripe juicy flavours of blackberry, spiced cherries, minerals and Asian spices.
Vintage Conditions
Growers were challenged in 2014 by devastating spring frosts and a hot dry summer that reduced yields, followed by early February rains that delayed vintage. The lower than average yields produced intense colours and flavours and good acid levels.
